Restoring everyday independence

Overview

What Is Home Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy focuses on helping people perform the activities of daily living (ADLs) that give life meaning and independence — bathing, dressing, cooking, managing medications, and more. When illness, injury, or disability makes these tasks difficult, OT provides the strategies, adaptations, and training to restore function.

Because our OTs come to your home, they can assess your actual living environment, recommend practical modifications, and train you in techniques that work in your real space — not a generic clinic setting.
